Privacy Policy
FetchMeJobs ("we", "us") is a job-search service operated at fetchmejob.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address and, if you use email sign-in, a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and Google account identifier; we never see your Google password.
- Search preferences — the keywords, locations, and filters you save so we can match jobs to you.
- Applicant profile (optional) — information you choose to provide for application autofill, such as name, phone, links, work-authorization answers, and custom answers. You control this data and can delete it at any time.
- Application inbox (optional) — if you use your dedicated apply email address, we receive and store emails sent to that address so we can show them to you.
- Usage data — basic interaction events such as which matched jobs you click, used to improve matching quality.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share your data with employers or job boards — applying is always an action you take yourself.
- We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.
How we use your data
To operate the service: matching newly posted jobs against your preferences, sending the notifications you enable, processing subscription payments, and providing support. Job alert emails include a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can toggle them off in account settings.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of processors to run the service: Amazon Web Services (hosting, email delivery), Stripe (payments — we never store card numbers), and Google (optional sign-in). Each receives only what is necessary for its function.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Data retention and deletion
Aggregated job listings are retained briefly and cycled automatically. Your account data is kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from account settings, or by emailing us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@fetchmejob.com and we'll honor these requests for all users regardless of location.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update this page and note the new date above.
